Sharon Regional recently opened its new Neshannock Diagnostic and Specialty Center, a satellite medical facility at 2915 Wilmington Road, New Castle.
The new Neshannock Diagnostic and Specialty Center brings specialty physicians to Lawrence County in the areas of cardiology, orthopedics/spine surgery, pulmonology, general surgery, and vascular surgery, along with a full complement of diagnostic tests including walk in laboratory and x-ray services, cardiac-vascular-general ultrasound, EKGs, and Holter monitors for cardiac patients, and x-ray services.
The board certified cardiologist who sees patients at the Center is part of Sharon Regional’s award-winning Heart and Vascular Institute, is Nicola Nicoloff, M.D.
Other specialists who will see patients by appointment at the Neshannock facility include James Boniface, M.D., orthopedic surgeon; Neven Kosic, M.D., pulmonologist; John Ambrosino, M.D., vascular surgeon; and family medicine physcians Allison Angott, M.D., and Daniel Bee, D.O..
As an additional service to the community, staff from the Neshannock Diagnostic & Specialty Center and Sharon Regional will also be offering community health education programs and screenings for area residents.
