Welcome to the website of Sharon Regional Health System. As a major provider of advanced health and medical services for more than 115 years, Sharon Regional is a major resource for the northwest Pennsylvania-northeast Ohio region. We are conveniently located on the Pennsylvania-Ohio border near Youngstown and Warren, Ohio and midway between Cleveland, Pittsburgh and Erie.
Over the years the facility has grown from an 18-bed hospital to Mercer County's most comprehensive health system, consisting of a 251-bed hospital with 22 satellite centers and more than 1,750 employees.
At Sharon Regional, we're continuing to experience significant growth in medical services along with more and more people choosing Sharon Regional for their care. This enables us to remain an independent community-focused health care system. The ability to stay under local control is a tribute to our board of directors' leadership along with the dedication of our employees, physicians, volunteers and students working together to set the standard for health care in the region.

Sharon Regional is a Smoke-Free Facility
As a healthcare facility, Sharon Regional takes seriously its responsibility to model healthy behavior. Sharon Regional adopted a system-wide tobacco-free policy effective July 1, 2007. This policy means that patients, visitors, employees, and physicians are prohibited from using tobacco products anywhere inside or outside Health System properties located in Sharon, Hermitage, Mercer, Greenville, Hubbard, and Brookfield.
Sharon Regional offers several smoking cessation programs and supports groups to its patients, the public, and employees.
